exciting stuffs are hapnin'

Last night makes my top five bravest things i've ever done list. probably makes the #1 actually!

I went to my last monday night of country sing dancing and i FINALLY! asked a cowboy to dance. :D It was my goal all year and i finally did it. The thing is, he was a REAL cowboy. not the fake kind that go there, a real real real one. His family owns a dairy farm. :D And he was sooo nice too! Like the kind that make me really like cowboys. Anyways, he asked me if i knew what i was doing and i said no. {cause i'm not really that good at dancing} and he said, "good, cause neither do i." that was the biggest fib of all time! he was waay good. And the thing was, he was good at having a conversation while dancing. Normally when swing dancing the guy i'm dancing with will ask a question and i can never hear it properly or he won't be able to understand my answer because for one, it's loud and also you're not really ever face to face. When he'd ask me a question, he'd pause in the middle of a move and just wait for me to finish my answer. This may sound like it'd be awkward, but it was not. I'm doing a bad job at describing this but it was a fun dance. And after i was over we stood and just talked for a few minutes. And he is a really awesome cowboy. :D

anyways then at the end of the dance Melissa and Betsy, and Gregory Peck made me give him my phone number. I was sooo not going to do. i was ridiculously nervous. I've never just walked up to a guy and handed him a piece of paper with my name and number on it before but i did it! and i probably sounded ridiculous because i might have said something like, "so this is kinda odd but i had fun talking to you tonight you should call me sometime." but then after i freaked out in the parking lot and nearly hugged greg i thought back to what i said and it might have gone more like this--, "so this is kinda odd but i had fun sometime you should give me a call tonight." yeah, he probably thinks i'm a skank. i really don't remember exactly what i said, but i hope it wasn't the second one. All i know is that i am proud of myself for asking him to dance and for giving him my number. :)

today has been pretty good so far too!

i woke up today and went to the institute for "Cram and Jam" aka free food. i was helping betsy and melissa study for their "energy in the environment" class final that was in a few minutes and when we were walking out i jokingly said, i should take the test with you! and they thought it was a good idea. So i went to their class and took the test. There were like tons of questions right off the study guide. I'm now hoping that they will send me my results!! it would be the most awesome thing ever if i just passed it! haha. it was definitely the first time i've ever taken a test as a joke and probably the last. It was kinda nice because i didn't have to worry about doing well and wasn't stressed at all! :D

Last taco tuesday of the semester tonight at cafe rio!! :D
