Nude man, eating slugs, first win, fun weekend.

Man, i have all sorts of stories for ya'll!! A couple days ago i went to these people's house and played garage band. And i can play the guitar on medium now! {this is impressive- i stinketh at all video games! give me a break okay? lol} Anyways i was sick of being there and we were leaving!!! so i go up the stairs and there is this naked man. naked man, "i hope you guys don't mind my nakedness." betsy, "oh, it's fine...." me, "this is so not fine!!". Okay, he was in boxers.... but they were awfully tight and short boxers. and then i walked out the door before i could see anything else i DID NOT want to see. Can i just tell you that this was an awkward moment! if i had an awkward moments journal this would so make it. {why don't i have an awkward moments journal?!?! } Lizzy walks down stairs and tells everyone that there is a naked man in the living room. and they said, "oh, he's naked again?" like it's a common occurrence in the house for him to be COMPLETELY nude?!?!?! some people's children.

I was sitting on the couch today watching "the prince and me". {Because that movie is cute! how does one go about finding an attractive Denmarkian {man from Denmark of course...} prince??? Anyways... when my roommate Ashley says, "i had a dream about you last night." so she tells me about how there was this clear-ish slug on her basement wall of her house and how i ate the slug! and then there were more and more of them and i just kept eating them..... haha. How do our brains even come up with this stuff?

Last sunday i was taking a nap in between conference sessions and Melissa was doing something in her closet. her closet is connected to Betsy and i's wall where we have our pictures of Christ and the temples and other such spiritual stuff. Anyway she hit the wall hard enough that 3 of our pictures flew off the wall and made me nearly fall off my bed! Which brings me to this morning. We have a full length mirror on one of our walls and this morning it decided it didn't like being on the wall anymore! So once again i have a heart attack because the heavy, large mirror comes tumbling down to the ground and bounced like 3 times! I still am in complete aww as to how it didn't shatter. I think we had an earth quake here or something. Anyways, i think that next my ceiling will fall down. If i stop blogging ever you will know that this is what happened.

Tonight we planned a surprise birthday party for Lauren. :D We were trying to figure out how to get her here with out being super suspicious. And so we go pick her up and go to wendy's instead of straight to my apartment. Lauren asked the drive thru guy if he'd tell her happy birthday and he sang her happy birthday instead!! It was seriously the cutest thing! And then he gave her this fancy smchancy strawberry shake thing FOR FREE!! i think every saturday is going to be someones birthday and guess where we're going?!?! WENDYS! Forget chuckie cheese and riding the bull thing at texas roadhouse when you have an attractive wendy's employee sing to you!

we played some serious wii dance tonight too! and guess what?!?!? I WON MY FIRST EVER GAME OF IT! it was a time for celebration. i think my luck with electronic video game device shin digs is seriously increasing!

I was so excited to go to my own singles ward today! It has been five weeks! :D i missed them. i hope my ward this summer is as great.

Romance, goldfish, nyquil,... oh yeah, and naked men too

this week was exciting....... that is one way to put it.....

so on tuesday i started reading a new romance novel. it is entitled "Romantic Vignettes". There are 3 little novellas in it. :D just the perfect length to read in one sitting. They really make me feel better. And the hero's always end up stripping their shirts off revealing very nice abs. yep. Isn't that romantic?!?!.... okay, well, i thought it was..... anyways, i'm done with 2 of the three.

wednesday- umm..... OOOhhh! Melissa bought fishies! and we got to name them! they are such cute little fishies too! here are the names i remember- Rothbart Jr. (in honor of Betsy's strep throat fish that died about a month ago), Brian J Larson III.... because that's brian's name... except he's the first.... BigMackeesha (just because it's a cool name!), and my favorite.... drummrrollllll!!!!..............

but bad news. Brian J. Larson III and Rothbart Jr died yesterday. :'( so they got flushed to fish heaven. ha ha.

thursday. is. the. day. that. changed. my. life. in a not-so-good way. I had to draw a male model. but wait, he was NUDE! GAH! i didn't want to draw naked men in the first place but it was even more awkward than i thought it would be. my professor said "it is such a beautiful thing! You will learn more by drawing a nude figure than by a non nude figure." she was right. i learned that i'm disgusted by them. drawing nude men falls under the dictionary definition of gross, nasty, eww, ah!!!, up chuck, sick, and scarred for life.

The most awkward was when he was facing directly toward me and kept making eye contact. forreal? you disgust me as it is and the last thing i want you to do is look at me! so for that drawing i looked at my paper the entire time and made up what i drew. my professor told me to look more at the model than my paper. i said "okay" while thinking to myself "yeah freakin' right!" and every drawing i had to do i did from the waste up. ha hah. i worked the system! and i got told "try doing a full body" i said "okay" and thought to myself "heeeeeeeck nooo!" :D i'm pretty cool like that. :P

i felt like lena from sisterhood of the traveling pants 2. except it was less awkward in the fact that i didn't know the nude model personally but more awkward in the sense that i'm pretty sure naked men freak me out more than they did her. but either way, i feel for you lena.

This pretty much sums up yesterday. except i started getting sick yesterday too. :(

dumb winter colds. (or fall colds...)

which brings me to my new best friends- NyQuil, DayQuil, cough drops, and Kleenex.

i went to bed EARLY last night. like 12 am is my normal bedtime. and i went to bed at 9. yeah. but i didn't fall asleep till like 1. cause my throat felt like someone was scratching sand paper on it, my nose was clogged, and the two fishes died and my roommates were holding funeral services with them so it was pretty loud.

today. um. i went to a review session for my test. and my professor said this. "and this will cause you to have diarrhea that could win gold medals!" it was pretty funny.

Life is great. Winter has hit. And i'm going to read the last novella. :D
