Definition: strong and muscular.
yep. the brawny man fits that to perfection.
I think that he is definitely the most attractive guy ever put on a paper towel packaging.
I mean look at his defined jaw line!! It doesn't get much better than that. and look, he wears plaid. which is pretty darn close to cowboy... right?
if this man was to enter my life it would be a good life.

VOTE!
So voting is one of the only things that i can do now that i'm 18 that i couldn't when i was 17.
yep, pretty much i'm grown up now.
So first off my little electronic card they gave me to put in the machine where you vote didn't work, but i thought i just put it into the machine wrong. So i put it in several different ways and still didn't work. Dad is done voting waiting for me. so finally i asked for someone's help (i felt like a child asking how to vote...) and they said "o, sorry. our bad" that card was broken or something to that effect.
alright so take 2 for card went something like this: put card into slot ( the guy told me to act like it was an ATM card) so i put it in and rapidly brought it back out. Nope, didn't work. apparently i had to leave it in. you don't leave ATM cards in the machine!!! good heavens why didn't you just tell to push it in all the way and leave it there So the guy had to put it in for me.
Then i voted and the guy asked if it was my first time voting (was it really that obvious?!?! :P) and i said "yep, i'm a changed women." (really that's what i said) and he gave me not one, but TWO i voted stickers!!! what a lucky girl i am!! :D one's in my journal.
So my first voting experience was an adventure! I can't wait to see will happen in November when i go vote! :D

Father's Day!!!
Father's day!!
Top Ten reasons why I love my dad:
(how can i pick just ten?!? i dunno, we will see what happens. ;) )
10- his inability to say the word "aluminum". (i had to use this one!!)
9- His mad skillz at killing spiders and all creeping things that creepeth on the earth (okay, just the ones in my house... but still!).
8- that he has a stash of peanut M & M's in his filing cabinet.
7- He won't give in to anything when it's important to him.
6- that he takes me on daddy/daughter dates.
5- He helps me follow my dreams and never doubts my abilities and has more faith in me than i do.
4- he's the peace maker. i've never heard him yell, he's never been the one to start any argument, and he always is the one to end them.
3- His worthiness to hold the priesthood and to give me Father's Blessings whenever i need them.
2- He takes time to get to know me. Even if i don't tell him everything about my life i know he is willing to listen to everything that i have to say. no matter what.
AND....
#1- He loves me. Because he chose to and didn't have to.
Even though he's only been in my life for 9 years my siblings and I are the luckiest kids in the world. I've seriously been blessed with the best daddy in the world! Everyone should be jealous!

Sucker for Sudoku
Recently I have found a new hobby. But not the normal scrapbooking/fishing/running/underwater basket weaving type hobby. Mine's more...sophisticated. ;)
I'm kind of in love with Sudoku. I've been doing them during my breaks at work & find it quite enjoyable. I love the feeling after figuring it out. It kind of releases stress too. Thought i would share that. So i like sudoku... don't make fun of me!. :P

Hence the word "Express"
At work there is this thing called the "Express Lane". The lane that all the checkers dread being assigned to. They are the furthest from everything so they are really boring to check at and that's why I didn't like checking at them.... until last night. I discovered the real reason why no one likes them!
Words of advice:
please do not go through an express lane with 200 dollars worth of groceries!!!
the belt at these lanes are half the size of the belts on normal registers, and there is no room to put your groceries after they are bagged. So while you are at the end of the belt waiting for more room to put your groceries up on the belt the angry checker (me last night) is bagging and putting your stuff on the ground because your cart isn't empty yet to put the groceries!! And then you get mad. Next time maybe use common sense coming with that many groceries through the EXPRESS LANE!!!
okay i'm done venting now. :D

SOARin'
Graduation has come and gone & i've decided that i'm going to start blogging again..... okay so maybe attempt would be a better word for it. I've never been good at it.
I went to SOAR (student Orientation advising and registration) at USU on Wednesday. It was:
1. Uber (isn't this a fun word?!) informative.
2. Ridiculously tiring
3. A relief in many ways. but...
4. Pretty dang fuN too!
The first thing we got handed was THIS sucker. the guy told me be prepared to read the whole thing during SOAR and that's why it was 6 hours long. Okay well me not understanding his sense of humor i'm sure i looked frightened and then he laughed and i took it as a mighty relief. Dumb kid. way to make me NOT want to go college. gee whiz.
basically this whale of a book has a description of every class, every major's requirements, every rule, every EVERYTHING that the school offers. so i guess i shouldn't complain. I'll probably become BFFFF's with this book between now and four years.
I also got my picture taken for my ID card!! alright so what might i be able to do with said card? not much until school starts...... but i am looking forward to being able to whip this baby out at the dollar theatre (liars... they charge 1.75 now!!) and say slice the price to 1.25 baby!! I'm a LEGIT student now. And guess what?! they can't even tell me "shove it" like they did with my high school ID!! So all in all this whole college student ID thing is spectacular!
I also got USU's version of the "stocker guide". Although it doesn't have everyone's phone numbers like OHS's did but it does have useful information that doesn't include the "DRSL'S" (can i sing a song of joy and happiness?!) But it DOES however give a "flow chart" of something that i don't understand EXCEPT!!!... that it says if i got above a 25 on the math section on the ACT and my major doesn't require anymore math then I NEVER have to take a math class in college!!!! Well i thought this was too good to be true so i asked someone that looked official there and they said i was correct. So i think i might love this confusing "flow chart" after all. :D
I have one more piece of really really good news!! So some letter that some person sent from USU one day to me said that my major required art students to take twenty something credits of a foreign language. Which really made me sweat! Because i have taken four years of Spanish and all i know and understand is "mi bano es tu bano"... more or less. Well apparently they had sent me the requirement for an art history major and not a photography major! So all in all i don't have to take any foreign language credits!! This made the 4 hour roundtrip drive worth it!
after we filled out our survey's on how to make SOAR better we ate our "Aggie icecream" which is muy good! :D
then Betys and I went to this lovely children's park, ate our wendy's, and played amongst the 3 year olds out with their parents.
SO excited for the end of August!!! College is going to be a blast and a half!
